Following consultation with the Didcot-based BASF Coatings Refinish team, agreement has been reached to relocate to the organization’s head office and production facility based at Deeside by July 2006.

This will bring all the BASF Coatings divisions under one roof, with the obvious benefits that having direct access to a core team of technicians and colorists will bring to both refinish and OEM operations. Field based sales, technical and key account functions will remain unchanged.

“This relocation provides a natural synergy between the three Coatings divisions,” said John Pearce, managing director of BASF Coatings in the UK.
